Success at Business Travel People Awards 2019

Sarah Symington, our Senior Event Manager, has been awarded the MICE Manager of the Year award in the MICE category 2019.

The Business Travel People Awards recognise outstanding individuals and teams within and across all aspects of the supplier element of corporate business travel management whose professionalism and business excellence make them stand out from their industry peers.

A judging panel, comprised of highly experienced industry professionals, selected Sarah Symington as this year’s MICE Manager of the Year in the MICE category 2019.

Sarah is the lynchpin of our team, bringing her A game to work every single day. When you bring together Sarah’s sheer devotion to all that she does, 20 years of industry experience, and her ability to always lead by example – it’s a powerful, unparalleled combination.

She is a self-confessed worker bee, who sets out to deliver the best events imaginable. To do so, she puts both our customers and her team at the heart of her approach. She makes sure each of her team members are working on events that most suit their individual characters and their development initiatives, whilst driving the best possible solution for our customers, as well as adding a healthy dose of fun to event management.

Furthermore, our Meetings and Events team has also been highly commended in the MICE Team of the Year category.

Our talent has been recognised by the wider industry as well, with our very own Michaela Isted winning a place in Conference News magazine’s CN30 under Thirty.

But the good news doesn't stop there! We won the bronze Award for the Best Intermediary Agency (> 40 employees) at the M&IT Awards back in March and we were finalists at the Conference News Team of the year awards. We believe that we show phenomenal drive and ambition; collaborating to ensure we meet the needs of our people!
