Two event professionals from NYS and Capita Travel and Events have made the prestigious CN 30 under Thirty ‘Class of 2019’ list: Kay Deacon and Daisy Coult.
Daisy Coult, Event Manager at NYS, has built up her skills over several years in the industry and so many clients and colleagues have praised her creativity, organisation and never-failing smile.
Her Line Manager, Sarah Symington, Senior Event Manager, wanted to add to Daisy’s nomination: “She has received fantastic feedback from clients and consistently too. I trust her implicitly with anything, and that includes my biggest client who I have worked with for almost five years. She is always thinking out of the box too, adding new ideas and suggestions to enhance an event, whether that’s a venue or a completely off the wall idea. She’s a real asset to our team, whose momentum and dedication will take her a long way.”
Kay Deacon, Lead Consultant joined Capita Travel and Events in 2017 and has been on Capita’s Talent Academy – allowing her to shadow many areas of the business. In just two years, Kay has earnt the status of Gold Accredited Venue Find Consultant.

This, alongside her need to strive for accuracy through careful consideration of others’ requirements, has ensured an internal reputation for reliability and excellence. She has the ability to connect with an individual and build immediate rapport, trust and confidence,” explained her Leadership Coach Andrew Pearce of Capita Travel and Events.
Now in its 3rd year, the CN 30 under Thirty exists to recognise and celebrate the conference and meetings industry’s top young talent. A platform for the rising stars of the industry, the CN 30 under Thirty initiative encourages the ‘thirty’ to learn from each other and many alumni have gone on to achieve spectacular successes.
